Step One

What to Include in Your Bulk Ingredient Quote Request

The more of the following you can give us up front, the closer the first number will be to the final one. If you do not have all of it yet, send what you have — we will come back with the questions that matter.

What to Include

Prefer to talk it through first? Call 952-353-0521 or email sales@captdrake.com. Office address and department routing are on our contact page.

Step Two

What You Get Back

A quote from us is a document your purchasing and QA teams can both act on, not a price in an email body.

Delivered price, by volume tier

Priced to your ZIP, broken out by pack format and by volume band, so you can see what moving up a tier is worth.

Current lead time and stock position

What is in US partner warehouses now, and the lead time on replenishment from the contracted manufacturer.

The full documentation pack

SDS, product specification, lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, certification certificates, allergen statement and country of origin declaration.

Line Card

Ingredients We Quote

Eight ingredients, all of them non-GMO or certified organic. If you need something outside this list, say so in the form — it may sit with one of our affiliate companies, and we will route it rather than leave you chasing it.

Annual Programs

Adding Us to Your Supplier List

Most of our customers contract annually, with RFQs going out in September and October for the following calendar year. If you are building the supplier list for that cycle, this form is the right place to start — tell us you are qualifying suppliers rather than buying today, and we will send the qualification pack instead of a price.

We will supply whatever your vendor onboarding requires: certifications, W-9, insurance certificates, quality documentation, and written answers to your supplier questionnaire. Where a document belongs to one of our contracted manufacturers rather than to us, we say so and obtain it.

Why Buyers Come to Us

The Sourcing Problem We Solve

Every citric acid manufacturer in the United States produces from GMO corn. A finished product carrying a Non-GMO Project Verified or USDA Organic label therefore needs citric acid made from non-GMO cane or tapioca feedstock, which means importing it. We contract directly with non-GMO manufacturers in Thailand and Colombia, hold US inventory, and carry the documentation — so you buy a verified imported ingredient on domestic lead times.

Quote Questions

How long does a quote take?
Normally one business day. A straightforward request on a stocked ingredient is usually same-day; a multi-ingredient annual program, a non-standard pack format, or anything requiring a fresh landed-cost calculation can take two to three.
An LTL pallet, 2,250 lb. We are a manufacturing supply line — we do not quote retail, consumer or sample-shop quantities. If you need a small qualification sample to run through your process before committing, ask for one in the form and we will handle it separately from the quote.
Delivered to your plant. Give us the delivery ZIP in the form and freight is built into the number you receive, so you are comparing a landed cost rather than a base price plus an unknown.
Yes. Use the same form and say you need documentation only. We send the SDS, product specification and applicable certificates, and a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis once material is allocated to you.
A distributor and importer. Contracted manufacturers produce the material, partner warehouses hold US inventory, and milling is done to our specification at our US milling partner. What we hold is the supply contracts, the certifications and the documentation — which is what you are qualifying when you qualify us.
Yes. Certificates of Analysis are lot-specific, and the certification documentation supplied with an order corresponds to the material shipped against that order. If your QA team needs a document we have not listed, name it in the form.
Ask. Captain Drake is the non-GMO and organic brand of a group whose affiliate companies carry a broader food and feed ingredient range. If your request belongs to one of them we will route it internally rather than send you away.
